The stainless steel tube measures 3" in diameter and is 17.5" long from flange to flange. The element is located on the outside of the stainless steel tube which has the wire leads in already in place for installation. The element is protected by the outside aluminium enclosure and the pressure switch tap is located to the side of the aluminium enclosure on the back end.
