Hot Springs heater element is a replacement for prior to 1994, 220v spa models. The heater element is 12-1/2", 2.5kw/220v, 2x4 plate with Nema cord. To help keep with correct installation; we include the heater gasket to help ensure a leak free seal. This square flanged heater element is secured into the heater body using two nuts & bolts.
Prior to removal, no cutting of wires or ground wires is necessary. Please use caution when removing the copper capillary tube from your old heater. Copper tube leading into your heater thermowell is not a ground wire, Do not cut or Kink.
Note: We recommend replacing both elements for a trouble free repair.
