BW Spa Parts knows that finding the correct part for your application can be difficult and frustrating. Let our knowledgable technical support staff help you find that part. Here you will find some tips on finding the correct part for your application.
® Most parts on a hot tub are not manufactured by the same company but, by another manufacturer that specializes in components that will perform a function.
® Most parts on a hot tub will actually have a part number on it.
® When working on your own spa remember that Safety is always job #1.
® When searching for a circuit board, the most important number is located on the eprom chip. An example of this is as follows ( H136R1A, H50R1A, SAR200R1B....)
® This chip number will allow your spa to function with the spa side control.
® When searching for voltage (ie. 115v) you will also come across 110v and 120v. Yes they are all interchangeable.
® When searching for voltage (ie. 230v) you will also come across 220v and 240v. Yes they are all interchangeable.
® When looking for an AMP rating the rule of thumb is: The higher the voltage the lower the amp draw. (ie. 120v 5amp, 115v 7amp, 110v 10amp)
® When looking for a heater element and you are not sure which one you need for your Flow-thru assembly. Match the KW and use or UNIVERSAL element that will fit most flow-thru applications.
